Ford’s Theatre Center
A 30,000 sf, 10 story, $16.5 million museum/ retail/office building gut-renovation of a 1929 building in a contextually sensitive historic district. Project provided 4 floors of museum space with a compelling 4 story circulating lobby space, 2 floors of educational space for the museum’s educational outreach efforts, and 4 floors of office space for the Ford’s Theatre Foundation. Building required a complete MPE refit, new fire stairs and elevators, and extensive exterior alterations all within the existing building’s footprint. Project is occupied and in use.
Led the comprehensive gut-renovation of a historic 10-story, 30,000 sq ft building, integrating museum, retail, and office spaces.
